This is the best performance of "The Ground" that I've heard. For me, it has the right speed, the right amount and age of voices. I can hear the piano and the men. The recording is scratchy, though. Do you have a better recording I can download? I ache to have this version clearly. Your version makes me happy. Thank you

When I hear choral music like this; when I hear human voices combining to create sound so ethereal and serene I weep when I realise the human voice is also capable of cruelty, bigotry and lies. I have not heard this piece before so my heart is soaring on an early winter's morning in Australia...already the weak sun seems brighter and warmer. I would love this music to be the soundtrack of my day.

I'm 69 years old my grandmother would sing this song to me when I was maybe 6 or 7 years old. For years I thought it was something she made up. This song made a flood of memories for me and my grandma Hattie. Thank you eyes filled with tears of joy 😂😂✝️🙏

my choir is doing this song now. extremely talented group of individuals all blending perfectly, and the aucostics of that room is simply brilliant. big ups to the director and singers in this piece😁

We sang this in my children's choir years ago... My sister and I took the main melody and turned it into a sort of round that we sang on long car rides... If you stagger the entrance as follows: "Dormi," "Dormi," you'll have a really lovely and haunting round in two parts. ☺️
